Hi,

I have created a file with record length 8. i have edited and tried to store some values. when i save it, the values got changed. eg if i type 11110101 the values and when i try to save the values changed to 00001010 etc.
can you please tell me why it happen.

Subbuy2k,

Open the dataset in edit mode and type NUM OFF at the command prompt and press ENTER and edit your file. Now you will not the see the numbers.
