Hi,

Can anyone please clarify on what factors should we consider while creating Index.

Suppose say I have a query like

SELECT EMP-NAME
FROM EMP-TABLE
WHERE EMP-NO = 12345

Creating index on EMP-NAME or EMP-NO which one would be more efficient???
