While Expediting an online program I got protection exception abend. I have defined some variables in the linkage section in the program and just wnated to perform some operations on it. eg.g initialize , addition etc.
At the first instance only while initializing it gave me this abend. What is this abend and how to solve it?

Milind,
You have to provide more specific info. You have received an ASRA(0C4), addressability must be corrupted. What online program - Main or Sub ?. Check your DFHCOMMAREA access. Thanks
