Hi All,
I have a request from one of my users that upon frist though is, it can't be done, but I'm sure there must be a way. Here's the situation:

This is the simple part.
The client has set up a mailbox which will receive e-mails worldwide.
These e-mails will contain a spreadsheet.
The notes client will then run an agent to extract/detach the spreadsheet to a server.

Now for the tricky part.
When the file appears on the server, they want to trigger an MVS process to go and pick up the file automatically with no user intervention.
This is all dependant on notes receiving the e-mail with the attachment. That's the trigger to the whole thing.

I'm having a hard time coming up with the link to the whole thing.
Does anyone know how to do this? or can anyone point me in the right direction?

Please post your questions in the right place. Create a new topic instead of posting in an existing topic.

Coming to your problem.

whenever the file is put on server, you would also create a FTP GET job and ftp it to the mainframe which in turns gets the file.

Sorry about the wrong area. I thought since I was trying to submit a job that this was the right forum. Should I repost in the other?
I have one more dilema to add to this. As our FTP works, we have a FTP client, but no FTP server. Therefore, I cannot FTP to the MVS, but I can from it.
