I want to rename A.B.C.D.** to A.X.D.**.
Is there any simple way to to it?

Yes, I do search. But I didn't find any good idea.
And your link is not about RENAME exsiting data set name.
I know a solution:
COPY RENAMEU
and then DELETE old datasets.
But it need space.
If there are huge data, it's not a reasonable solution.
I only want to change the ENTRY name.
(Same like IDCAMS ALTER xxx NEWNAME xxx). |
