I know that i am going to ask a repeated question.and everybody have the answer to search the manuals.Sorry all i need to ask this again as i want to learn assembler.
I went through the manual, but its not digesting for me.I dont know to learn it.Main problem,i am not finding any use of it in my shop.May be it will be useful but i am not able to find the opporunity to use it.If somebody can suggest any idea for using the same. Some small small usage programs.
Actually after reading the manuals lot of confusions came like ..where to use these commands.in application scnario..registers..MVC CLC shiftin shiftout....
Please If any experts can guide the beginers like us,the approach to study this, small small case studies we will be very much greatful...
I belive we will get help from everybody to learn this... |

Infoman123,
There is a very good Assembler Language Programming: Systems-360 and 370 book by Sharon Tuggle which is a good starters book
ISBN: 0-574-19160-7
Another good book is MVS Assembler Language by Kevin McQuillen and Anne Prince
ISBN: 0-911625-34-8
Hope this helps...
Cheers
