I have inserted a row in a table with one field as null. But when I checked the table through FILE-AID/DB2 ,the null is showing a value 16448. But while retrieving field value is null itself. Please let me know how to show this blank while viewing through FILE-AID/DB2 .

hitlerbros,

Did you try retrieving the same column in spufi and see if it returning the same result?

No, It is not whowing the value in SPUFI OUT. But the query I am having is there anyway I can show blank using FILE-AID/DB2.

hitlerbros,

You can try using a COALESCE or VALUE fucntions to put a space in the null column

Code:

SELECT COALESCE(COL1,' ')
  FROM TABLE
;


OR

Code:

SELECT VALUE(COL1,' ')
  FROM TABLE
;
