I have 2 seq. files (PS) file 1 and file 2.

for every record in file 1 I have to scan file 2 for a match. I write the output to different files based on the match.

hi,

after some struggle, i got the answer. Its using OUTREC fields. But, is it possible to use conditional statements in OUTREC.

like, if n th byte is ' ' then change m th byte from '1' to '2' ...
