can you mention whether you need IDD record definitions or COBOL record definitions?
If you want IDD definitions, use IDMSDDL.

To read previous record, you can always move just record into a variable working storage and use it whenever you require to. I can share an example if needed. |

mm stands for Major code of Verb
nnn stands for return after execution of verb
