How do I determine what packages are bound to a table? We are DB2 V10. I also have Data Studio 4.1.0.1 installed on my workstation. Can it be used to find the answer to my question?

I have a table to which I have added a new timestamp column (CREATE_DATE) . On a go forward basis, this column will be populated each time a row is added to the table with the current timestamp.

Yes you are correct, the decimal column is 8 characters.

But still the problem is the character field which could be up to 40 bytes.

The decimal column is not really the issue. It's the var_char COL which is actually a first name. It can be up to 40 bytes, but the combined len ...
