Steve Eckols in his IMS DB book explains the concept of multipositioning quite well. He mentions that the PSB determines if multipositioning is used in the program. But does not explain further.

Could someone please throw more light on this? What I understand is you need to run dfsrc000 as in a pure ims program and pass db2 parameters thru the parm.

My program does not abend. the repl issues a status code of spaces and the program also returns a zero rc. but my changes are not being reflected in the db. Since there is no abend after the ...
