Can somebody please help me. I have to open a program placed in the PDS. I thought to use LINEIN function. But it is not working. Every time it gives error that it is invalid

Hi All
Can you please help me out. I have a program that is AMODE=24, RMODE=24. If I want to change the AMODE and RMODE without changing the soucre code. How can I do that.

I got the point you explained. But what is the advantage of converting codes from 24 to 31. Is there performance issues. Or just to have more vitrual spaces.

Can some telll me what are the advantages of 31-bit addressing over 24-bit addressing. I have gone through no. of internet sites but I have not got the satisfactory answer.
