I went over the data area manual a couple more times, but still can't locate the DCBs for an address space from within. Thanks again though. Sure am glad I found this site. |

Is there a pointer in any of the control blocks mentioned that points to DCB directly? |

| Wrote a BAL program years ago to query all the opened DCBs in an address space.
I can't recall exactly how the open DCBs addressability was established, only remember getting to their SIOT and JFCB ... |

Just wanted to know if anyone is familiar with MVS system control blocks such as CVT, SIOT, DSAB, etc. |
