Is it possible to find the job name which crated the datasets in DASD.

If you do a search for "SMF" you will find pages with a similar topic, such as this one:

http://www.mvsforums.com/helpboards/viewtopic.php?t=3266&highlight=smf

It would appear that only SMF data would provide this type of information, and only if the system has been enabled to provide it.
